First Friday Food Trucks at Flamingo Gardens
5pm to 9pm

It's LATE NIGHT FOOD TRUCKS at Flamingo Gardens! 
The FIRST FRIDAY of the month Flamingo Gardens stays open late with the best food trucks in Fort Lauderdale serving up their goodies  in the front parking lot from 5-9pm. DJ Mike spins the tunes in the parking lot while the South Florida Bluegrass Asscociation (SFBA) band Pine Island Express strum their stuff in the courtyard for free!

100+ Abandoned Dogs of Everglades Florida animal rescue will be present with dogs to adopt! Stop by to find out more about this great organization, or better yet, adopt a pet!

Parking and admission to the Food Trucks event and Bluegrass Band concert is FREE. Admission into Flamingo Gardens is ONLY $5 for adults and kids after 4pm until dark*. Last tickets are sold at 7:00pm and the Gardens will close at 7:30pm. 
Food Trucks will remain open and serving until 9pm.

* Members & Children 2 and under free. Tram and Wray Home will be closed. The Aviary will close about 6:30pm and some animals may not be visible.

October 11-12, 2014
Harvest Fest &
Great Scarecrow Competition
9:30am to 4:30pm

Harvest Fest features free hayrides from 10 am - 4pm, Punkin' Patch, free bounce house, a Fall market, scavenger hunt and Fall crafts and activities for the whole family.  Scarecrows will take over the botanical gardens with the 5th annual scarecrow competition.  Enter your own imaginative interpretation of the classic scarecrow or vote for your favorite to win the "People's Choice" award.  Judging takes place at noon and winners will be announced at 2pm.  Admission to Harvest Festival is half price for the day!

HALF-PRICE DAY!  $9 ages 12+, $5 children 3-11, free for members and children 2 or younger.

Haunted Nights at Flamingo Gardens
7:00pm to 9:00pm

Bad things happen at the carnival!  
This annual special outdoor benefit for Flamingo Gardens is sponsored by Spirit Halloween stores and features live actors and animatronic props staged throughout the Garden's West Arboretum with two Haunted houses. The faint of heart and young children should be wary as it is sure to scare! 

Haunted Nights is an outdoor night time event held from 7-9pm to raise funds to benefit the botanical gardens and wildlife sanctuary.  General admission is $8 per person. 
No member passes, discounts or coupons.  This night time event is not recommended for children under 10.  Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Story Time with the Good Witch
11:30am to 4:00pm

Kids will love story time at Flamingo Gardens with friendly witches and their creepy pets! The fun begins with a costume parade at 11:30 am through the haunted woods to find the witches' cottage. Story time is at Noon in the BBQ Pavillion followed by a costume contest, free hayrides from 1-4pm, bounce house, spooky games, crafts and other tricks and treats. Visitors can also explore the great scarecrows throughout the boo-tanical gardens or visit the pumpkin patch. Sure to be fun for all but best for younger children.

Come in costume on October 26th and get Half-price admission- $9 adults 12+, $5 children 3-11, free for members and children 2 or younger.
