Harvest Festival at Flamingo Gardens features FREE hayrides from 10am to 4pm, pumpkin patch and free decorating station, theme costume contests, with scarecrows throughout the gardens, bounce houses, live character interactions, DJ Digital Anarchy spinning your favorite songs, games, and Fall crafts and activities for the whole family. Each weekend features a special theme.
October 7 & 8- The 8th Annual Great Scarecrow Competition. Scarecrows take over the arboretum for guests to vote on, along with scarecrow characters to meet and greet. Click here for Great Scarecrow Competition Entry Form and details.
October 14 & 15- Pirates & Princesses Weekend. Talk like a pirate and sing like a princess as live characters bring fairytales to life with performances and meet & greets for guests to enjoy. Also join historian and archaeologist Robert Feeney in learning about the real Pirates of the Caribbean with actual shipwreck artifacts from the Age of Pirates including clothing, everyday items and weapons.
October 21 & 22- Superheroes Weekend. Meet your favorite superheroes and see them in action with live characters to meet & greet. Play superhero games to see if you have what it takes to be a superhero.
October 29 & 30- Halloween Story Time Weekend. Set the Halloween mood with story times, a Haunted House, see odd & bizarre objects from around the world in Professor Feeney’s Cabinet of Curiosities, trick or treating, and costumed friends to meet & greet.

First Friday Food Trucks is back with some of the best food trucks in the area for your dining pleasure! DJ Anarchy spins the tunes in the parking lot from 5-9pm while South Florida Bluegrass Association presents live bluegrass in the courtyard from 6-8pm. As always, parking and entry to the food trucks is free.

Flamingo Gardens celebrates the final weekend to view the Lost World of Dinosaurs exhibit with a three day, fun-filled event. During the closing weekend guests can speak with Paleontologist Robert DePalma or Archaeologist Robert Feeney to learn from the experts. In addition to viewing the exhibits, the weekend includes special guided tours, meet and take photos with Horacio the T-Rex, bounce houses, entertainment, games, crafts, vendor and information booths, food and fun surprises!
Closing Weekend activities included with admission to Flamingo Gardens.

Saturday are just $7 in September! If you've never visited Flamingo Gardens, or desire to visit again and bring friends, now is a perfect opportunity. On Saturday, September 9, 16, 23, and 30, 2017, admission will be slashed to $7 for both adults and children ages 3 and up. Children 2 and under, and members of Flamingo Gardens, are admitted free. Plus enjoy $7 specials in the gifts shop, and $7 combo meals at the Flamingo Cafe and Tropical Marketplace. Narrated Tram Tour is included. No other discounts or offers apply.
