Celebrate the great pink bird at Flamingo Fest 2019! The centerpiece of Flamingo Fest is the Fabulous Flamingo Contest. Kids and adults, craftsmen and artisans, present creatively decorated pink flamingo yard ornaments on display throughout the botanical garden path. Flamingo Fest guests are invited to vote for their favorite!
In the gallery, The Flamboyance of Flamingos exhibit features the artwork of local photographers and artist coupled with fun flamingo facts. Throughout the day, catch live entertainment, “flamingo” street performers, stilt-walkers, puppets, and more. Wear your favorite flamingo attire for a chance to win prizes!

Flamingo Garden's Botanical Gardens and Historic Wray Home are decked out with thousands of lights and decorations while holiday music fills the air. Hours are extended Fridays and Saturdays (and Sunday the 17th) evenings to view the lights at dusk and enjoy a special holiday light show set to music beginning every half hour between 5 and 8pm. Santa's Snow Mound and life-sized Snow Globe, costume characters and holiday crafts for the kids. Holiday snacks and drinks will be available for purchase at the Flamingo Café to enjoy while viewing the lights.
Garden of lights is included with daytime admission, or $9.95 ages 12+, $6.45 ages 3-11, free for member and ages 2 and under after 5pm.. Animal exhibits, Wray Home Museum, and Narrated Tram Rides, Santa and Bounce houses are not available after 5pm.
December 16, 17, & 23
2:00pm - 5:00pm
Meet Santa at the Gardens starting at 2:00pm to 5:00pm. At 3:00pm, help Mrs. Claus and the elves decide which animals have been naughty or nice, then pass out the animal's presents. Enjoy Santa's Snow Mound, the Animal Train, Bounce Houses and life-sized Snow Globes and holiday crafts to make and take home.
Stay late for Garden of Lights to view the holiday lights and see the light and music show at the Wray Home Museum.
Santa's Little Helpers and Garden of lights is included with daytime admission- $19.95 ages 12+, $12.95 ages 3-11 free for member and ages 2 and under. Animal exhibits, Wray Home Museum, Narrated Tram Rides, Santa and Bounce houses close at 5pm for Garden of Lights.
5:00pm - 9:00pm
Start the NEW YEAR with First Friday Food Trucks and some of the best food in Florida! DJ Anarchy spins the tunes in the parking lot from 5-9pm.. As always, parking and entry to the food trucks is free.
