Harvest Festival Themed Weekends

9:30am to 4:00pm

Fall into the spirit of the Autumn season during the Harvest Festival at Flamingo Gardens featuring a different theme each weekend. The four weekend festival features free hayrides from 10 am - 4pm, pumpkin patch and free decorating station, theme costume contests, bounce houses, live character interactions, "The Movie Garden: Scary Plants in the Movies" exhibit in the Gallery, DJ Digital Anarchy spinning your favorite songs, games, crafts and activities, food and more for the whole family.

October 19 & 20 - Superheroes & Villains Weekend. 

See your favorite superheroes and villains in action with live characters to meet & greet. Play superhero games to see if you have what it takes to be a superhero and defeat the bad guys. Superhero and Villians Weekend Details.

October 26 & 27-Halloween Weekend.

Set the Halloween mood with special spooky presentations, trick or treating in the gardens, scavenger hunt and costumed friends to meet & greet. Don't miss the Good Witches and their spooky animal friends, visiting the Wray Lawn on Saturday and Sunday from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. Halloween Weekend Details

Scary plants in the movies

Flamingo Gardens unveils an original and unique new exhibit inspired by nature’s fiercest and most intriguing garden wonders and the eerie legends that they inspire.


Take a self-guided tour of Flamingo Gardens tropical arboretum to identify real life scary plants in Flamingo Gardens botanical collection. Then step into the Gallery where intrepid adventurers will discover a world of amazing plants and sinister specimens, and the connections they have to Hollywood films. Find out the hair-raising and bone-chilling stories of the plant kingdoms’ most fearsome foliage.
