​Flamingo Gardens is now reopened with timed online ticket reservations.
 

Our highest priority is the health and safety of the Flamingo Gardens community, so we are taking a gradual approach to our reopening.

  • Online reserved entry is required to assure entry. Walk-in entry is available only if we have not reached our hourly capacity.
  • Entry will be limited to 100 visitors per hour, with hourly time slots for entry from 10am-3pm. Once inside, you may stay as long as you like until 5pm.
  • Guests will be required to show their ticketed reservation at entry. 
  • Visitors will be admitted during their designated entry time slot only. If you miss your time slot, please call us to reschedule your visit at (954) 473-2955.​
  • Guests must abide by the County mandated safety guidelines. Broward County mandates that masks be worn in public at all times indoors and outdoors when within 6' of others. See below.

Additional Ticket Policy Information
Limited online tickets available for the following times:

Sunday through Saturday, 10:00am – 4:00pm.

  • Tickets may only be purchased online in advance. 
  • Tickets are limited to 100 guests per hour.
  • Tickets are good for the reservation day only.
  • Tickets and times are not transferrable. If you miss your visit, we cannot admit you at a later hour.
  • Tickets are rain or shine. Bring an umbrella as indoor areas are not open due to social distancing. 
  • Tickets are non-refundable.
  • If you can not make your reserved time, call us to reschedule your visit.

Members of Flamingo Gardens must have advanced online-ticketed reservations as well.

  • Use your five-digit member access code to make reservations. (If you are a member and have not received your access code via email, please email membership@flamingogardens.org or call 954.473-2955 for assistance.)
  • Members will be required to show ticketed reservation, member cards and photo ID at time of entry.
  • Members must arrive during their designated time slot only. If you miss your timeslot, we cannot admit you later. Once inside, you may stay as long as you like until 5pm.
  • Members must abide by the County-mandated safety guidelines below.

SAFETY GUIDELINES

We are following all recommended policies issued by Broward County, the Florida Department of Health in Broward County and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to ensure the health and safety of our guests, staff and volunteers.

We ask all our guests to help us abide by the following:

  • Visitors and staff must wear facial coverings (with exceptions for children 2 years and under, and those with chronic breathing conditions as described in the Governor's Executive Order 20-112. Broward County mandates that masks be worn in public at all times indoors and outdoors when within 6' of others.
  • Social distancing of 6’ must be maintained, except for those who self-identify as a family and may visit the property in a group of under 10 people. 
  • Guests are asked to yield to other guests where posted. If you need to pass other guests while on the path, please give sufficient social distance spacing.
  • No outside food or beverages, except water, allowed inside the garden.


Flamingo Gardens has implemented these additional safety measures: 

  • Paths in the Gardens will be restricted to one-way foot traffic where possible and guests are asked to abide by the directions arrows.
  • Please note that this is an entirely walking experience. The entire route is approximately two miles long, but there are multiple exits along the path. 
  • There will be no Wildlife Encounter shows so that we may abide by social distancing recommendations.
  • The Wray Home Museum and Gallery has reopened with self-guided tours. with social distancing practices in place.  
  • Tram Tours are now operating every half hour, with limited seating for social distancing purposes. 
  • Access to the Gift Shop and Food areas are limited to allow for proper social distancing.
  • We have limited as many touch surfaces as possible, including limiting the number of chairs and benches, for added safety.
  • Frequent touch surfaces will be regularly wiped down throughout the day.
  • Restrooms will be cleaned at least every 2 hours. We ask that guests remain outside while waiting for an open stall.


Not Permitted During Your Visit:

  • Please, no jogging, running, biking, skating, rollerblading, scootering or skateboarding
  • No outside food, coolers or picnics. 
  • No smoking on the premises.
  • No pets permitted. Only Trained Service Dogs allowed.​
  • No weapons of any kind.


If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms as outlined by the CDC or have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive with COVID-19, you will not be permitted to visit the Garden.


People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms or combinations of symptoms may have COVID-19:
Cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fever
  • Chills or repeated shaking with chills
  • Muscle pain
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • New loss of taste or smell
